TEBA BANK EXTENDS ITS HELPING HAND
IN LOCAL SCHOOL

One Teba Bank’s business strategies is community development. They strive to make meaningful and life-changing contributions towards the well-being, uplifting and development of their communities.

One of Teba Bank’s CSI programmes is the Schools Development Programme. This programme is aimed at developing rural schools in need. The beneficiary in Mohlakeng Township is the Matlapaneng Primary School in Randfontein.

In this regard Teba Bank offered to sponsor an entire building to house computers. The building of an extra computer centre is an important project to the community of Mohlakeng. Basic computer skills can finally be taught to learners from Grade R to Grade 7 to aid them to learning programmes tailored for specific grades that would not otherwise have access to such technology.

"Most of these learners come from unemployed households, and it is without a doubt that this gesture that Teba Bank has embarked on will benefit this community and will ensure a conducive learning and teaching environment for both learners and educators" remarks Nono Bam - Head of Community Investment and Initiatives.
